Background

Tchalim holds a Bachelor of Economics and International Finance from the University of Kara in Togo, a Bachelor of Business Administration from the American Public University System and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is fluent in French and Kabyè.

Tchalim is a budget analyst and Presidential Management Fellow at the U.S. Department of Transportation in Washington, D.C. He ensures the implementation of the Digital Accountability and Transparency Act within the Office of the Chief Financial Officer under the Office of the Secretary of Transportation. He also has responsibilities in enterprise risk management and financial assistance programs within the same office.

Tchalim enjoys hiking and watching sports. In his spare time, he explores various business television programs from around the world. He likes traveling to discover new places, cultures and cuisines.

Research Interest

Tchalim is pursuing a DBA to explore the research environment and theories needed to resolve real-life business issues. He also plans to possibly teach one day. His research interest is in enterprise risk management.
