Background

Danielle’s commitment to “next is now” reflects her proactive approach to professional development and her dedication to driving positive change in the business landscape. She started her entrepreneurial journey at age 20 with a small tax office in Florence, South Carolina and has been in and out of the corporate workforce ever since. She is a former investment accountant of TIAA, formerly known as TIAA CREF, where she held her series, life and health license. Now as CEO of The Roberts Consulting Firm, Danielle is committed to serving as a catalyst for change and breaking down systemic barriers that hinder the growth and prosperity of minority-owned businesses.

Danielle runs her firm full-time while providing business coaching services at the CPCC Small Business Center.

Danielle earned a dual bachelor’s degree in accounting and marketing from Limestone College in Gaffney, South Carolina and a dual master’s degree in business administration and finance from Webster University with a certificate in project management.

As Danielle embarks on her journey towards earning her DBA, she is preparing to release her debut book, “Breaking the Glass Ceiling! Removing the Lid.” This book serves as a testament to her commitment to shattering barriers and empowering others to reach their full potential, particularly as a first-generation doctoral candidate.

Removing the Lid” will serve as a beacon of hope and inspiration for individuals from all walks of life who aspire to break through barriers, achieve their dreams and make a positive impact in their communities and beyond. Through her book, Danielle aims to empower others to embrace their potential, challenge the status quo and pave the way for a more inclusive and equitable future.

Research Interest

By pursuing a DBA, Danielle seeks to deepen her expertise in business consulting and leadership development, particularly within minority communities. Her specific focus is to empower minority entrepreneurs to overcome barriers and achieve their full potential.
