Brian is an executive leader in operations, compliance and human resources who specializes in achieving performance excellence through strategic planning and implementing change management. During his twenty-five-year career, he has established a reputation as an industry expert on market trends and is sought out for providing guidance to organizations for establishing best practices and ensuring risk mitigation for employers in an increasingly complex HR environment.

Brian has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Miami University (Ohio) and an MBA in Human Resources Management from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. He also is a certified payroll professional (CPP) in human resources management (SHRM-CP) and project management (PMP).

Most recently, he was chief operating officer for Realtime Services, a firm that provides human resources administrative services to small to medium size businesses. He currently is consulting for multiple organizations that are in the process of managing global HR transformations.

Brian has lived in Charlotte for the past ten years with his wife Cristen (who is a nurse practitioner in the pediatric intensive care unit at Levine’s Children’s Hospital) and their three children: Ellie (14), Abby (12) and Alex (7). In his spare time, he enjoys working out, running, reading and spending time with his family as much as possible.

Brian is pursuing his DBA to possibly enter a career in teaching. His research interest will be focused on the numerous changes in the workplace environment that continue to emerge since COVID-19 and how management will need to evolve to meet the changing needs of driving employee engagement and productivity in an effective and compliant manner.
