Head of Consultant Relations, Jack Henry

As head of consultant relations for financial technology company Jack Henry (JH),, Khary Brown serves as a corporate key contact for consultant firms, establishing and maintaining open lines of communication between financial industry consultant agencies and raising awareness for JH’s competencies in the financial industry.

Khary has been with JH since 2016 and previously led the product marketing group for Jack Henry Banking®. He has more than 25 years of marketing and banking experience. His career began in marketing with WMXD-FM in Detroit, MI, where he ultimately became promotions director.

Next, he worked at MARS Advertising where he led strategic marketing events and negotiated added value for media buys for clients such as Nestle, Sara Lee and GlaxoSmithKline. From there, he joined Bank of America, where he held various marketing and strategic roles. His final position at Bank of America was senior vice president for small business marketing, where he was responsible for managing, developing, executing sales/service and marketing programs.

Brown earned a B.S. in Communication Technology from Eastern Michigan University, an MBA from the University of Phoenix, an M.A. in Biblical Studies from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary at Cornerstone University and is Six Sigma Green Belt certified.

Brown is also very active in his community. He is a recent graduate of the Arts & Science Council Cultural Leadership Training Program and sits on several advisory boards, including the Charlotte Symphony and WDAV 89.9 Classical Public Radio in Charlotte. Additionally, he is co-founder and president of the Kyden’s Keepers non-profit foundation, whose focus is to provide awareness and support towards pediatric organ donation to children with congenital heart defects.

Khary lives in Charlotte, NC, with his wife and son. He enjoys cooking, golf, running and participating in his son’s sporting activities.

The Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) will act as a catalyst for Khary to serve as a senior leadership team member of a corporation, showcase his analytical problem-solving skills and enhance his ability to simultaneously simplify and solve complex organizational issues.
