Background
Marcy completed a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Finance from Harding University. She subsequently completed a Master of Accountancy from Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University. She has extensive experience in both external and internal audit at Ernst & Young, LLP as well as Genesco, Inc.
Currently, Marcy is an assistant professor of accounting at Middle Tennessee State University, where she teaches Accounting Information Systems and Accounting Analytics in both undergraduate and graduate programs. Her research has been published in academic journals including the Journal of Emerging Technologies in Accounting. A member of the AICPA Leadership Academy and a CPA Practice Advisor “40 Under 40” honoree, Marcy stays active professionally while she and her husband raise three young children.
