Keith S. McLean

Background

Keith S. McLean is a senior onboarding partner with more than 30 years of experience in project management, mergers and acquisitions and regulatory compliance within the financial services industry, with a focus on securities lending, operations and international marketing. He has managed numerous high‑profile projects, enhanced service delivery and re‑engineered processes to strengthen organizational performance.

McLean holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Bernard M. Baruch College in New York and a Master of Business Administration from Long Island University in Brookville, New York. He also holds a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification. In his current role, he manages a team that provides subject‑matter expertise in onboarding consulting.

McLean has lived in Charlotte since 2006 with his wife, Dr. Karen McLean, an elementary school teacher, and their three young adults: Khursten, Kahleese and Kynnedi. In his free time, he enjoys working out, cycling, playing dominoes and spending time with his family.

Research Interest

McLean is pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration to prepare for senior leadership roles within his firm, where he has worked for the past 18 years, and to explore a potential transition into academia following his retirement from corporate leadership. His research interests focus on management and leadership, particularly how business practices can promote innovation, responsibility, integrity and sustained organizational success.
