Corey M. Shores, PMP, is the Human Resource (HR) Director for all Nuclear Electronics Technicians in the U.S. Navy’s submarine force. Currently, he represents his constituents at the Bureau of Naval Personnel in Millington, TN. He obtained a Master of Science in Operations Management and a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering Technology. As the HR Director, he oversees all employee assignments, budgets, staffing, compliance, payroll and benefits for over 2,000 Submarine Nuclear Electronics Technicians and operators. Corey is interested in pursuing a DBA to provide consulting services to the defense contracting and utility industries.
Corey’s area of research interests include operations and human resource management with a focus on talent acquisition, retention, training, and other incentive programs.
