Magbor Atem, PMP, MSc, CSM is a hands-on project manager and Analytics Consultant at Atrium Health. Previously in her career, Magbor owned and operated a UK Based Consulting firm and led international IT application projects. She consulted with the Commonwealth Business Council.
Magbor is a PMP certified project management professional and certified Scrum Master. Her education includes a Master of Science in Healthcare Informatics from UNC Charlotte, an MSc (Distinction) in Management and Marketing - Birmingham City University, UK and a BSc. in Economics, University of Buea - Cameroon.
She currently serves as a member for the Project Management Institute (PMI), the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and the Charlotte Business Intelligence Group (CBIG).
Magbor is a dedicated wife and mother of three adorable girls. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, reflecting, the beach and traveling with her family and volunteers with Big Brother Big Sister.
Magbor is passionate about leveraging the benefits of Healthcare Information Technology and data analytics to provide high quality, cutting edge solutions that improve the bottom line. Her research interest focuses on Healthcare Management of Information Systems and Operations to improve patient outcomes.
