Supply Chain Advisor, Ernst & Young (EY) Consulting

Marie is currently a technology consulting manager at Ernst & Young’s consulting practice.  A greater part of her purpose is to give back to the future generations of the world who will one day be the leaders of industry. Marie has more than two decades of expertise in business administration, strategic leadership, and communication. She also has complementary experience as an industry leader, practitioner, and management consultant. In these roles Marie led teams, acted as a change agent, and developed others. Some of Marie’s most notable accomplishments include solving complex problems for Fortune 100-500 companies and multinationals, driving operational improvements and sustainable growth in the supply chain space, and designing operating models for customers and organizations primarily in the consumer products space. Marie earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Management from Pace University, Lubin School of Business, NY. She later earned her  Master of Arts in Strategic Leadership from St. Bonaventure University, NY.

Marie is married with two fur babies and lives in the greater Charlotte area. She enjoys making pottery, reading, playing tennis, and attending MLB games. She is actively involved with the UStrive Mentor program and Women Who Code organization.

Marie is pursuing a UNC Charlotte DBA because as a management consultant in the supply chain and operations field, she has seen firsthand that digital capabilities implemented to enable supply chains seldom scale, which causes companies to lose money, business growth to stagnate and negative customer experiences. With the pandemic, supply chains were disrupted and vulnerabilities were exposed, the aftershocks of which companies will feel for years to come. In the pandemic world, Marie has an interest in understanding how to measure effectiveness of digital investment and how to scale digital investment with changing generational leadership philosophies. With a passion for supply chain, her primary research interests focus on business information systems and operations management.
