Tanisha Walls, ABD

Tanisha Walls is a native of New York who moved to Charlotte in 2014 with her husband to raise their family.  Tanisha earned her B.S. in Natural Sciences from Saint Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill, New York. Tanisha began her career as a Legal Assistant for a private law firm in Upstate New York.  After several years working in a law firm, Tanisha transitioned to Fordham Law School where she started out as a Faculty Assistant, she took on the role as the Project Manager for Faculty Recruitment.   

In 2014 Tanisha and her husband moved to Charlotte to expand their family. Tanisha is a mother of three children. Since living in Charlotte Tanisha has been a Stay at Home Mother.  While raising her children, Tanisha obtain a Graduate Certification in Project Management from Western Carolina University and a Master in Entrepreneurship also from Western Carolina University.  

Tanisha enjoys spending time with her family, concerts, trips to the beach and visiting aquariums. 

Tanisha’s decision to apply to the DBA program was to fulfill a life goal while expanding her knowledge of entrepreneurship and the business realm.  She currently holds an interest in researching the impact of social media on entrepreneurship, and strategic planning within small businesses. Tanisha plans to use this degree to help mold and shape her entrepreneurial spirit, serve as a consultant to businesses and share her knowledge by teaching at the University level.
