Christopher has focused on achieving manufacturing, distribution and supply chain operating excellence throughout his career. He is now the supply chain optimization leader for Albemarle’s lithium division, where he is a change agent for driving operational excellence. Christopher is pursuing a DBA to become a transformational operations management industry leader.
Christopher received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Carolina. He later received an MBA with an International Business concentration from the University of Houston Clear Lake. He is also certified in Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
He currently co-chairs Albemarle’s Black Employees Connect Steering Committee. This employee resource group’s mission is to develop programs to support diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
Christopher lives in Charlotte with his wife Glenda, and they have one daughter. He enjoys writing, practicing yoga, playing percussion instruments, and watching basketball whenever possible.
Christopher plans to focus on solving the supply chain complexities of emerging markets.
