Background

Blaine Nashold attended University of Delaware in Newark where he earned a Bachelor of Arts & Bachelor of Science, then continued on to earn a Master's of Business Administration.  His personal interests include ice hockey, golf, yoga, theatre, guitar, cooking, staying active within his church and traveling with his wife, son and dog. Blaine's reasons for pursuing the DBA are grounded in enhancing his ability to affect strategic, meaningful change within any organization of which he is a part. In addition, he is positioning himself to continue as a business school professor and impart his passion for higher education, infused with real-world applicability, in future generations of students.

Research Interest

Areas of research interest include business information systems and enterprise data management and how to support effective risk management and business decisions by ensuring data is clearly defined, accurate and available from trusted sources and strategic technology service delivery and design. Blaine seeks to research how to consistently deliver technology as a competitive advantage, while also exploring digitization and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
