Background

Suzanne is originally from Rhode Island and currently lives in the Charlotte, North Carolina area with her husband David and daughters Samantha & Sarah. Sue is a Program Manager with the Retail Technology for TIAA that delivers business solutions for the Trust Company of the firm’s Bank. She is also a marketing adjunct professor at the UNC Charlotte Belk College of Business. She earned a B.S. in Finance from Bryant University, and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. As a Program Manager with Process Excellence expertise, her certifications include Project Management Professional, Process Design Engineer, HELIX Facilitation and Six Sigma Green Belt.  Her passion is volunteering which include Second Harvest Food Bank, Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools as well as UNC Charlotte Belk College Alumni Council. The pursuit of the doctorate degree is aimed towards the nurturing of her future students and colleagues to best prepare them for the twists and turns that lay ahead. Suzanne chose UNC Charlotte because as an alumna she has a tremendous appreciation of the sense of community and belonging offered by the University.

Research Interest

Suzanne’s research provides a “what if” tool to recommend a firm-specific blended channel, and a sales and service model to maximize investment value.  Evaluation criteria examined, but is not limited to the components of customer and prospect demographics, product offering suites, regulatory change and market conditions.  The recommendation will allow firms to further customize based upon the risk appetite of the firm.  This research is intended to be a foundation for additional tools to help make strategic investment decisions.
