Rasheed Temidayo Ogedengbe is a retired soldier and effective communicator with significant experience in developing financial and performance audit plans. His greatest strengths are strategic thinking, team building, conflict resolution, a forward-looking vision and anticipation of future needs. This has enabled him to be both a strategic leader and team player that can work directly with customers of all levels and promote results-driven collaboration.

In total, Rasheed has 25 years of military, federal and state tax, accounting, auditing and project management experience. This has enabled him to build a wide variety of skills including analytics, data research, team development, resource coordination, contracting, customer relationship management and staff management.

Rasheed has an MBA in Finance and a B.S. in Accounting and Management Information Systems, both from Fayetteville State University. He also has two graduate certificates in project management, business intelligence and data analytics from Fayetteville State University.

Rasheed currently works as a senior auditor at the Office of the Inspector General in the  Department of Labor. His daily duties include DOL financial statement audits, conducting audits of DOL improper payment, charge card risk assessment, and FECA and SSAE 18 audits and review.

The Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) will broaden Rasheed’s horizon and help him build the research and problem-solving skills needed to become a leader, consultant and  knowledgeable educator in various areas of business management. It will also help him to be an expert and reliable source of knowledge in his fields of study and work. Rasheed’s ultimate goal is to leverage both his military and civilian experience to become a college professor while also earning the position of SES at his current organization or another federal government agency.
