Taylor R. Lackey recently acquired the role of accounting manager in Charlotte, NC, at CBI, a workplace solutions company, to be closer to the Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) program. Prior to this, she worked in the poultry industry in various capacities at Case Farms for five years. Her most advanced role was accounting supervisor, overseeing live bird accounting processes.
Ms. Lackey obtained both an MBA with a specialization in Cybersecurity Management and a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Fayetteville State University.
Deeming herself a lifetime learner, Taylor is pursuing her DBA in hopes to expand her knowledge across a broader scope of business practices and policies as well as to build and improve on her current skill set. Her research interest encompasses studying marketing tactics and shifts and their specific relationship with leveraging a positive social media presence to promote optimal profitability.
In her spare time, Taylor enjoys hiking, reading, and exploring new places with her son, Hezekiah. She is excited to get involved with her company’s Live Love Serve foundation, a nonprofit extension of CBI, to help serve the community. Taylor is also part of the Young Professionals Network through Safe Alliance.
